A Career Built on Connection
“In every career I’ve been in, whether in banking or in healthcare, I enjoy connecting with people. When I see a senior or someone in need of assistance, I automatically think of ways to help,” says Ms. Everett-Gaines.
After reaching the pinnacle of her 20-year career in banking and becoming Vice President of Savings Operations, she made a rewarding career change to the healthcare field. Her transition was guided by purpose and a desire to serve.

During her 26-year career in healthcare, she brought essential resources and services directly to seniors. These services ranged from coordination with local hospitals to connecting families with trusted community-based providers.
Today, she continues working within the community, helping seniors access services throughout their retirement journey.

Co-Founder of a Powerful Network
Ms. Everett-Gaines is the co-founder of Women of Color Who Serve Seniors (WOCSS), established in September 2011. The organization brings together professional women and men of color, making the services they provide to seniors and their loved ones more visible and accessible.
